ETCert CPD

ETCert Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

A fundamental requirement of the NLA-SA’s ETCert Scheme is that persons certified as competent need to demonstrate that on an on-going basis they continue to keep their skills relevant and knowledge up-to-date.

The scheme has an initial and then on-going 3 year certification period. In order for a certified person to be re-certified at the end of each 3 year period it is necessary that the applicant applying for re-certification provides adequate evidence that he/she has performed activities related to emission testing and accreditation. This process is referred to as Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and in order to accomplish these requirements various activities have been approved as CPD activities.

ETCert certified persons are requested to download the relevant documents in order to see what the requirements are and ensure that they do not leave the fulfillment thereof until the end of the 3 year certification period. Any questions in this regard should be forwarded to the NLA-SA in order to clarify what is required.

The documents will be published on the website as soon as they are available.
